"Come attend the first live recording session of the 8EAST Recording Project! The aim of the 8EAST Recording project is to capture and document the live free improvised music that happens at 8EAST and to have a place to share these recordings that are accessible to a wider group of listeners. The focus of this first recording will feature equity deserving artists.* The project is led by Matthew Ariaratnam.

The music played this night will be recorded, mixed, and mastered and put out on a CD and bandcamp to be released in the fall.

The sets will be a mix of these performers:
